Peter A. Stokes brings 15 years of comprehensive
legal experience to Meriwether & Tharp. With a robust background spanning
family law, civil litigation, corporate compliance, and risk management, Peter
focuses on delivering strategic, objective legal counsel.
Throughout his career, Peter has managed his own
legal practice and served in executive-level compliance roles. He earned his
Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law and holds a degree in
Economics from Georgia State University.
A native of Glynn County, Peter recently relocated
back to the Georgia coast. Outside of his legal practice, he can usually be
found playing a round of golf, riding bikes, or spending time at home with his
newborn daughter.
