The Model M&T is the future of divorce. Unlike Traditional Representation (hourly billing), The Model M&T provides you a predictable price upfront with no hidden fees or surprise costs. The Model M&T includes 2 options: (1) monthly subscription plans with several tiers, and (2) flat fee plans.
Monthly Subscription Plans
With a Model M&T monthly subscription plan, you first select one of our monthly subscription options based on the complexity of your case. Next, you make a one-time initial payment to get your case started. After your initial payment, you make fixed monthly payments until your case ends. Flat Fee Plans
With a Model M&T flat fee plan, you can select one of
our monthly subscription options and opt to pay an upfront flat fee instead of
monthly payments. Here, you make a one-time upfront payment. That's it. No monthly
bills and no hidden fees. To assist you
in making your one-time upfront payment, we have financing available.

Step 1 - Intake

Step 2 - Select Your Pricing Option
In traditional family law cases, you will be billed by the hour until the case resolves. Under the new Model M&T, you will have 2 pricing options. You can choose to pay a one-time flat fee for your divorce, or if you think your case will resolve quickly, you can choose a monthly subscription-based plan with predictable monthly costs going forward until your case ends.

Once you select the Model M&T, you will be matched up with one of M&T's experienced attorneys based on your preference, location and issues in your
case. Under the Model M&T, the lawyer is not concerned with billing by the

Q How does Model M&T Save me Money?

Model M&T saves you money compared to a traditional divorce or family law case. In a traditional family law case, you will make an initial payment (sometimes called a retainer), then you will receive monthly bills for all the work done on your case. Divorce lawyers typically cannot predict how much your divorce will cost upfront since they bill by the hour and they do not know how many hours it will take to resolve your case. This is also why so many family law and divorce cases end up costing $15,000 - $25,000 and beyond.
The Model M&T is a revolutionary new pricing
structure that resolves these issues by using our experience, size, and tools
to eliminate inefficiencies and provide a predictable upfront price. With the
Model M&T, you will be able to budget properly for your divorce because
you'll have a better idea what the costs will be. The Model M&T eliminates
uncomfortable billing disputes that commonly occur in traditional divorces.
Since you agreed to pay a set amount, there is no need for you to review
monthly bills from your lawyer and call them up to dispute what work has been
done and the cost of that work.
Q Do I get the Same Quality of Representation with Model M&T?

Yes! Just like with traditional representation, you
will be represented by one of our experienced family law lawyers. You will get
the same access to resources and our non-lawyer experts that you would have
received had you selected a traditional divorce.
Q Can I do no Money Down?
A

Q I have a Quick Divorce is Model M&T Right for me?
A
If you have a divorce that you think could be
resolved relatively quickly, it may not make sense to go the flat fee route or
the traditional divorce route. In this situation, a monthly payment plan where
you make smaller monthly payments until your case is resolved would probably be
the most cost-effective option. The Model M&T has a Monthly Payment Plan
option where you make an initial payment of $2,995, followed by monthly
payments of $799 until your case is resolved. If your divorce case could be
resolved relatively quickly, you would end up paying less over time than you
would if you agreed to a flat fee divorce.
Q Does Model M&T Flat Fee Resolve my Case Faster?
A
Yes! As the client, your goal is likely for the lawyer to obtain a positive result as quickly as possible for the lowest cost. Unfortunately, in the traditional billable hours model, attorneys only make money when they bill for work on your case. This creates an incentive for the lawyer to take extra time to do certain tasks while spending more time arguing with the opposing counsel. This will often lead to cases dragging out. In Model M&T Flat Fee, you and your divorce lawyer will share the same goal. In a flat fee model, there is no incentive for the lawyer to spend more time doing unnecessary work, or fighting unnecessarily with the opposing party since the lawyer will not be paid for the additional work/time. Flat fee pricing models create an incentive for lawyers to resolve your case quickly while meeting your divorce goals.
