Meriwether & Tharp, LLC welcomes Catherine Knight Danz and Amy Latrese Martin as the newest members of our team of family law attorneys. Catherine brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team of family law professionals, while Latrese brings the compassion to guide her clients through the difficult legal and emotional issues that often accompany divorce.
Prior to joining Meriwether & Tharp, Catherine worked in corporate law at Davis, Polk & Wardwell in New York City, where she acquired business and stock market acumen that she utilizes in complex cases. Upon returning to Atlanta, her native home, Catherine worked with the firms of Warner Mayoue & Bates and Davis Mathews & Quigley before becoming a founding partner at Boyd Collar Knight, LLC. Catherine is a Senior Attorney at Meriwether & Tharp, where she provides our clients with the counsel and expertise needed to resolve even the most complex cases.
Latrese joined Meriwether & Tharp in her first year of practice, shortly after graduating from Emory University School of Law. During her time at Emory, Latrese clerked at several law firms,which primarily focused their practice on family law. Latrese is a passionate and eager young attorney who will work with her clients to achieve their litigation goals in the most effective and efficient ways possible.
