Background
Nicole was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica where she earned a track and field scholarship to attend California State University, Los Angeles in 1997. In 2002, Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles. She then worked at an Elder Law firm for five years that specialized in Guardianship, Conservatorship, Estate Planning and Medi-Cal (Long Term Care). Nicole started working as an office assistant and within a short time, was promoted to Legal Assistant. She wanted to continue exploring opportunities in the legal field so she furthered her studies and obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2007. In 2008, Nicole relocated to Georgia with her family. Nicole worked for a Family Law attorney for three years where she learned the basics of Family Law and general Civil Litigation. As she began to navigate through family law, she realized that there were cases that required other skill sets, so she furthered her studies at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix Arizona and obtained her Master's of Science degree in General Psychology and in 2019 obtained a second Masters of Science Degree in Mental Health and Wellness. She believes that these tools are an asset she can use when interacting with clients and a pathway for longevity in the profession she enjoys.
Nicole is married and has two beautiful girls. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
