Background
Marie was born on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. As the daughter of an Air Force officer, she spent her childhood years in both the United States and Europe, but eventually ended up back in Bossier City, Louisiana. She attended Wayne State University in Wayne, Nebraska and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. After relocating to the Atlanta area, she worked in several administrative and sales positions before purchasing and substantially expanding a local handmade natural soap company. While managing the growth of that business over several years, she made the decision to sell that company to see what the future might hold.
She joined Meriwether & Tharp as an Intake Coordinator in the fall of 2017. Marie enjoys helping to direct the firm's prospective clients to M&T attorneys who can help them with their particular legal problem. When she is not working at M&T, Marie enjoys spending time with friends, family and their dog Beaux.
